What is RoleCheck?
RoleCheck is an AI Career X-Ray. You tell us your role, industry, and the tasks that fill your day, and we generate a personalized report estimating how exposed your work is to AI-driven automation, on a 0–100 scale, with a 1–5 year forecast and a concrete 90-day action plan.
How does the AI analysis work?
We compare the tasks you select against U.S. Department of Labor occupational data (O*NET) and current AI capabilities. The result is a task-by-task exposure score, a role-level risk score, and a written analysis of where your leverage is likely to shift.
Is this a subscription?
No. Each report is a one-time purchase. You buy it once, and the PDF is yours to keep. Additional scans for other roles are discounted: $14.99 for the second role, $9.99 for the third and beyond.
How do I sign in?
Tap "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google" on the welcome screen. We don't ask for a password — your sign-in is managed by Apple or Google.
I can't log in with Apple ID
First, make sure you're signed in to iCloud on your device (Settings → your name). If sign-in still fails:
- Check your network connection.
- Force-quit RoleCheck and reopen it.
- Try toggling Apple ID off/on for RoleCheck under Settings → Apple ID → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.
If the problem persists, email support@rolecheck.app with your device model and iOS version.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your scan history, reports, and account from our servers within 30 days. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
You can also email support@rolecheck.app from the email address on your account to request deletion.
How do I get a refund?
All purchases are processed by Apple. For refunds, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly. RoleCheck cannot issue Apple refunds on your behalf.
I bought the report but can't see it
In the app, pull to refresh on the Reports screen. If your purchase still isn't showing:
- Tap Settings → Restore Purchases.
- Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy the report.
If neither helps, email support@rolecheck.app with your Apple receipt or order ID and we'll restore your access.
How does the discount for additional scans work?
Your first role report is $19.99. After that, the second role is $14.99 and the third (and any subsequent role) is $9.99. The discount is applied automatically at checkout based on how many reports you've purchased on your Apple ID.
Can I share my report?
Yes. The PDF is yours — share it with a mentor, manager, or save it for your records. Reports are intended for personal use; please don't redistribute them as a commercial product.
The app crashes on startup
Try the standard checklist:
- Force-quit and reopen the app.
- Update to the latest version of RoleCheck in the App Store.
- Restart your device.
- Reinstall the app (your reports are tied to your Apple ID and will restore on sign-in).
If crashes continue, email support@rolecheck.app with your iOS version and device model.
I lost my report
Reports are tied to your Apple ID and stored on our servers. Sign in with the same Apple ID, then tap Settings → Restore Purchases. Your reports should reappear in the Reports tab.
The PDF won't download
Check your network connection and free storage on your device. If the download still fails, force-quit the app and try again. If the issue persists, email us with the role name and approximate purchase date and we'll resend the PDF directly.
